The Directorate of Education, Secretariat, Daman conducts the Daman & Diu AYUSH NEET counselling for admission into AYUSH courses like BAMS, BHMS, BUMS and BYNS. Only candidates who qualify for the NEET-UG exam are eligible to participate and Admission is based solely on the NEET scorecard. The counselling process reserves 85% of seats for local students from Daman & Diu while the remaining 15% of seats are available under the All India Quota (AIQ) for students from across India.

Daman & Diu AYUSH NEET Counselling 2025 Process

Eligible candidates can register for Daman & Diu AYUSH NEET Counselling 2025 by visiting the official counselling portal. Below is a simplified step-by-step guide to help you understand the entire counselling procedure

  1. Candidate Registration: Visit the official website and complete your registration by providing the required details.
  2. Choice Filling & Locking (Round 1): Select your preferred AYUSH courses and colleges and lock your choices within the given deadline on the counselling portal.
  3. Seat Allotment Result (Round 1): The result of seat allotment will be published online based on your NEET rank, choices filled, and seat availability.
  4. Reporting to the Allotted College: If you are allotted a seat in Round 1, you must either accept the seat and report to the college for admission or choose to decline the offer.
  5. New Registration (Round 2): Candidates who didn’t register in Round 1 can participate in Round 2 by completing a fresh registration.
  6. Fresh Choice Filling & Locking (Round 2): Just like Round 1, select and lock your preferred courses and colleges.
  7. Seat Allotment Result (Round 2): Seats will be allotted based on merit and preferences. The result will be declared online.
  8. Reporting to College (Round 2): Candidates allotted a seat under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) in Round 2 will not be allowed to vacate their seat, as per the Supreme Court’s directive.

Currently, Daman & Diu does not have any AYUSH colleges offering BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BNYS or BSMS courses. However, students from Daman & Diu can apply for admission to AYUSH colleges in other states through NEET counselling.
