Jharkhand Ayush NEET Counselling Eligibility Criteria

To apply for Jharkhand Ayush NEET counselling 2025 and secure admission in BAMS, BHMS or BUMS courses, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

Reservation Criteria

Candidates applying under reserved categories must meet the official guidelines and submit valid certificates in the prescribed format. Here’s a summary of the reservation rules:

Residential CriteriaCandidates must be Indian citizens and permanent/local residents of Jharkhand, as per Government Resolution No. 3198 dated 18.04.2016. They must upload a valid Local Resident Certificate issued by a Circle Officer, SDO (Civil), or Deputy Commissioner. Certificates in any other format or by unauthorized authorities will be rejected.
Caste-Based ReservationReservation will follow the Jharkhand government’s latest policy. Candidates must upload a valid Caste Certificate issued by the Circle Officer, SDO (Civil) or Deputy Commissioner. BC-I and BC-II candidates must belong to the non-creamy layer which should be clearly mentioned in the certificate. Incorrect format or issuing authority will lead to rejection of the claim.
EWS (Economically Weaker Sections)EWS candidates must provide a valid EWS certificate issued as per the Jharkhand government guidelines. Format and notification are available on the JCECEB website.
Persons with Disabilities (PwD)Candidates seeking reservation under the PwD quota must upload a Disability Certificate issued by the Chairman of the Medical Board and countersigned by the Medical Superintendent/CMO/Head of Hospital in Jharkhand. It must follow the rules mentioned in Resolution No. 2249 dated 03.04.2018.
Primitive Tribal Groups (PTG)Candidates from PTGs can claim reservation benefits based on Letter No. 5555 dated 28.06.2016. They must upload the certificate in the correct format issued by a competent authority.
Note: Only candidates who already possess valid and properly formatted certificates issued by authorized officials should claim reservation benefits while filling out the online application.

Counselling Fee

Candidates must pay the Registration and Counselling Fee online through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI. The fee structure is as follows:

  • Registration Fee is paid once during the online application process.
  • Counselling Fee is charged during seat allotment and is non-refundable.
  • PwD candidates are exempt from the registration fee, but must pay the counselling fee.

Jharkhand Ayush NEET 2025 Counselling Procedure

To participate in Jharkhand Ayush NEET Counselling 2025, eligible candidates must register through the official website of the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB). The counselling process is conducted online and follows a structured step-by-step format:

  1. Online Registration – Candidates must visit the official JCECEB portal and complete the registration by filling in their details and paying the application fee.
  2. Choice Filling (1st Round) – After registration, candidates can select their preferred Ayush colleges and courses.
  3. Seat Allotment (1st Round) – Based on NEET scores, category, and choices filled, seats are allotted to candidates.
  4. Reporting to Allotted College – Candidates who receive a seat must report to the allotted institute within the given time frame to confirm admission.

Note: If a candidate does not get a seat in the first round, they can participate in the second round of counselling as per the schedule and guidelines.

AIQ Counselling Process for Jharkhand Ayush NEET 2025

Candidates applying for admission to Ayush courses under the All India Quota (AIQ) must register separately for NEET Ayush AIQ counselling, which is conducted online in two rounds. Here’s how the process works:

  1. Online Registration: Start by registering on the official counselling website.
  2. Choice Filling & Locking (Round 1): Select your preferred Ayush colleges and courses, then lock your choices in the portal.
  3. Seat Allotment Result (Round 1): Seats are allotted based on NEET scores, preferences, and availability. The result is published online.
  4. Reporting to the Allotted College: Candidates must either accept the allotted seat and report to the college or reject it if they don’t wish to proceed.
  5. New Registration (Round 2): Candidates who didn’t register earlier can apply now.
  6. Fresh Choice Filling & Locking (Round 2): Repeat the process of selecting and locking college choices.
  7. Seat Allotment Result (Round 2): Seats are allotted again based on updated preferences and availability.
  8. Final Reporting to College: Important As per Supreme Court guidelines, candidates allotted seats in Round 2 under the 15% AIQ quota cannot withdraw or vacate their seat.
